AN/APN-69 Beacon was used in several models of airframe (B-47, B-52, C-97, RB-57D, KC-135) to facilitate tactical aircraft in locating the refuel plane. AN/APN-69 was typically paired with AN/APN-59 Search & Weather Radar.
